Will the lid open when I walk by?
No. ProClean has a kick sensor only, with no hand-wave sensor. Walking past, pets, and kids won't open it. The lid opens only when your foot taps the sensor at the base.
What bags does it use?
ProClean uses its own refill bags, which is how it seals and rebags for you. It isn't made for standard 13-gallon kitchen bags.
Is it big enough for my kitchen?
ProClean comes in 17L (about 4.5 gal), 20L (about 5.3 gal), and 30L (about 7.9 gal). That's smaller than a standard 13-gallon kitchen can, so you may empty it more often. Since every bag comes out sealed, taking it out is quick and clean.
How long does a charge last?
About 90 days on a full charge. When it's low, just plug it in.
Does the UV light kill germs?
The UV light is there to help keep odors down inside the closed can. We don't make germ-killing or health claims.
What if the lid breaks?
If your lid fails within the first 99 days, we'll send you a new one for free. After that, you can buy just the lid instead of a whole new can.
